Intro:
The basic premise for this build is to use Tirion in combination with Stonehoof + Huntress to get very strong pushes, using Pyromancer and Blizzard for control and getting valuable cycle trades with Defias and Gryphon Rider.
You can watch the video to understand it a bit more - it's also a great deck vs unbound due to the relative low cost tanks which are great to draw unbound pressure (and not die)
Unit explanations:
Tirion:
Very useful leader unit especially if you're running Divine Shield which essentially means he tanks units for FREE for 5 seconds which is insane. He can also heal himself up through this and then continue to impact the game.
Works extremely well with Stonehoof Tauren + Huntress.
Huntress:
Just an insane unit, a good HP pool and great damage potential. Great vs. squads and if you run the Elven Might talent like me it makes her strong vs. single target too. Only drawback is that she is a little expensive.
Stonehoof:
Really good quality unit for 4 gold, good tank, and can threaten the backline with charge. If you run the Double Charge talent she almost always takes out an important ranged minion. Functions really well with Tirion also.
Whelp Eggs:
With flame burst make these a 3-gold nuke. Best mini when it has this talent unlocked.
Gryphon Rider:
Underappreciated unit for 2 gold. Can deal with air and ground units well enough, especially with the increased range talent keeping her safer vs. harder match ups. Also cycles our deck which is important here.
Defias:
1 cost cycle, almost always trades up or provides stun utility. If you can get them to open a chest then you get an eco advantage too. Really good unit for just 1 gold.
SAFE Pilot:
Again, another S+ Tier mini for map control and blowing up groups of enemies. Fantastic unit!
Gameplan:
Depends what you're facing (watch the video for more varied playthough explanations) but essentially you want to gain lane control with Tirion + Stonehoof + Huntress. Really hard combo to deal with as Stonehoof generally pulls aggro first and then Huntress is free to DPS down most of the enemies. Tirion can usually out-heal Blizzard and makes the combo difficult to deal with. Other units are reactive depending on the situation.
