Guide

I've mastered Sprout and I know, what problems there are and how to avoid them. One Problem is enemies getting close to you. You can't hit them that easily when they're in front if you. To avoid this, use your hedges to seperate you from an enemy, although this might take a bit of practice. You can also just block them off so they don't even have a way to get to you (This works for Assasins without a jump, like Buzz, Lily, Fang, Melodie, etc.). The "Photosynthesis" Star Power also helps with giving you more HP (30% Shield). Another Problem is enemies dodging your shots. You should use your hedge or already existing walls to help, because the shots bounce off walls and in tight corridors they're almost impossible to miss. You can also trap the enemy to do a lot of damage or kill the enemy/-ies.

Game Modes

Gem Grab

Gem Grab

You can play Sprout on almost any map for Gem Grab; being able to block off enemies and shots. You can also protect the Gem Carrier with your walls, but Sprout isn't good in offense.

Heist

Heist

The Hypercharge is really good in Heist, but if they have Wallbreakers, then you need teammates to help you. The best map for Sprout is G.G. Mortuary.

Hot Zone

Hot Zone

The Hypercharge is also great in Hot Zone. It can cover most of the zone and if they step into the vines, they get damaged and Sprout recharges the Hypercharge quickly. The best map fir him is Dueling Beetles.

Brawl Ball

Brawl Ball

You can block off the goal and can protect the ball from enemies. Make sure that when you block off the goal, your enemies/teammates dont destroy the hedge with their immunity shields.

Works Well With

8-Bit

8-Bit

Sprout can protect 8-Bit's Booster with the hedges, making it harder to kill.

R-T

R-T

It's the same thing with R-T. With Sprout R-T doesn't have to worry about his base too much, since it's blocked off.

Pam

Pam

Since Pam already places her Super behind a wall, Sprout can create a heal spot that's further in the middle allowing for more heal.

Janet

Janet

Sprout can protect Janets Boombox with the Hedge and the walls can make the enemies easier to hit with the bombs
