Main Attack - Meltdown
His attack lasts for six whole seconds, which is kinda a lot. But, it doesn't stack, that means you cannot deal twice as damage per second on the same target. With that said, here comes the strategies.
Since his damage lasts for very long, you can control some essential areas by attacking them constantly (even though his reload speed is “Very Slow”, there's plenty of time to throw another attack before the other one disappears. You can also use his star power strategy that I'm going to explain below), so your enemies simply won't pass through it or they will take some... considerably high damage.
Also, it's not recommended that you waste your three ammos in the safe (unless the whole enemy team is dead and there's enough time to get all your ammo back). Instead, there's a strategy you can use related to the star power, that I'm going to say below. In case you, for example, still don't have enough coins to buy his star power, just throw one attack in the Heist safe and the other ones, at your enemies.Super - Sweet Swirl
You must be very careful with this one.
Berry is a very weak brawler when it comes to health points. Just to make it clear, he has 2500 HP on Power Level 1 and 5000 HP on Power Level 11.
So, it's not very smart to rush into your enemy team alone (especially if they are full health). In this case, it's better to wait your allies to rush and heal them with your super, while also, if possible, damaging your enemies to help your allies (and you) get to the enemy safe.
Also, you can use your super in the Heist safe, if everything is safe (no puns intended), since it can deal 5040 damage on Power Level 1 and 10960 damage on Power Level 11.TraitHis trait is pretty good, but not so awesome on Heist gamemode. If you do correctly, it can kinda be that pretty common tank trait that charge the super when taking damage. It may be confusing at first, but don't worry, it's not that hard to “use” It.
His trait allows Berry to charge his super by healing himself or his teammates. So, whenever you take damage, try always to heal yourself with your main attack, so your super will get fully charged faster and you can use it like said above.Gadget - Healthy Additives > Power Level 7
This gadget can be very strong helping to destroy the Heist safe, since it doubles the ammount of time Meltdown lasts and, for a target that doesn't move like the Heist safe, doubles the damage he can deal, going from 6336 total damage with one ammo on Power Level 7 (when you unlock his gadgets) and 7920 total damage on Power Level 11 to 12672 total damage and 15840 total damage, respectively.
Try not to waste it to control an area, since 6 seconds are already enough to do this, so make sure to deal lots of damage on the Heist safe with this gadget.First gear - Damage > Power Level 8
This one proposal is very simple: with the damage gear, you can deal even more damage to the Heist safe and keep your enemies even further from your safe.
In a simple way, you are able to attack and defend better.Star Power - Floor Is Fine > Power Level 9
Here comes the strategy I mentioned earlier.
With this star power, you can reload faster by throwing your main attack at your feet.
This means that during your combat, try always to have ice cream at your feet, so you can reload faster, causing you to attack your enemies more times and control crucial areas better.
This kinda of applies when you want to attack the enemies Heist safe: activate your gadget and attack the enemy safe with one ammo, throw your main attack at your feet with another ammo, and attack your enemies with your third ammo or their safe (in case they are already dead).
The other star power could also be used here, but you would not be able to do these strategies and the damage boost isn't that effective.Second gear - Gadget Charge > Power Level 10
With this gear, Berry can double the damage he deals to the Heist safe one more time, that means he is able to take away almost 75% of the Heist safe HP if he hits all the 4 gadgets.CompositionsHis compositions should be composed by brawlers that perform well on Heist gamemode and/or assassin brawlers to rush into the enemy team while Berry heal himself and/or them.
Some examples of these brawlers (that I'm going to explain better later) are Colette and Melodie.
Also, I think G. G. Mortuary is probably the best Heist map for him, since he can control the middle and attack the enemy safe through there.That was the main guide!
Berry itself is not a brawler that good for Heist, but I still think he can be very good, especially on the map said on the topic above.
