ReplantingMushroom KingdomSpeedGadget Charge

This build has the less used gadget and star power for Cordelius, but I like using it and it's not that bad for playing aggressively but also, passively. So, I guess they're still useful, for reasons I explain on the main guide.

Mushroom Kingdom
Star Power

Increases number of Gadget uses per battle by 1.

Guide

Main Attack - Mushrooms
There's not much to say here, just get close to your enemy and spam it.Super - This is my Domain
In the Super, you will probably rush into your enemy, since Cordelius has a huge advantage in the Shadow Realm. You can take a lot of advantage for most tanks and low-ranged assassins, because you will have a mid-range and your opponent won't be able to use gadgets or Supers.
After his nerf, Cordelius can't use his gadget in the Shadow Realm anymore, so if you wanna jump and leave your opponent without reaction, as well as to have your kill easily, make sure to use your gadget before the Super mushroom get to the enemy.TraitThis one is interesting.
Cordelius have a mid-size area that can slowly charge his Super and his Hypercharge if another opponent brawler comes in. You can also use this area charge your Super or your Hypercharge behind walls and even inside bushes.
So, if you are inside a bush, make sure to see if your Super or your Hypercharge are charging, because that means an enemy os near. But be careful, you need to have a fast reaction speed by using your attack or your gadget to escape or rush the enemie inside the bush.Gadget - Replanting > Power Level 7
You can use your gadget to rush into another players or to run from them in tough situations.
This can be very useful if you want to be more versatile, since you can surprise your enemies over walls and get your kill.First Gear - Speed > Power Level 8
Speed gear will help Cordelius to rush and to escape when necessary.
You could also replace it with a damage or a shield gear, I guess both are good for him.Star Power - Mushroom Kingdom > Power Level 9
With Mushroom Kingdom star power, your opponent will rarely run into your mushrooms and get poisoned, specially with higher trophies, so make sure to grab them to heal.Second Gear - Gadget Charge > Power Level 10
The Gadget Charge gear can help Cordelius move even more around the map, with even more opportunities to jump through the walls.Hypercharge - Complete Darkness > Power Level 11
There's also not too much to talk about here, just active it with the Super and get a free kill.CompositionsCordelius is pretty good in most gamemodes and works well with most brawlers. But, here are some examples that can work well with him, I'm going to explain them better later.
For Duo Showdown, Kit will work well.
For Brawl Ball, Max and Sandy can give Cordelius pretty good support.
For Bounty or other elimination gamemodes, Lily can be very good, and the third brawler can be a healer support, like Berry. That was the main guide!
Even being a Cordelius main, I don't play so much with him (I just like him), but I hope this guide can help you with something.
Obviously, the second gadget and the first star power can arguably replace the other ones, but I guess it's still ok to use them.
That's all, hope you like it and enjoy your gameplay with this awesome legendary brawler!

Game Modes

Showdown

Showdown

If you read the guide above, there's not much to say here, but the main thing you need to know is how to check bushes with your trait by checking your Super or your Hypercharge charge.

Duo Showdown

Duo Showdown

Similar to Solo Showdown, but with a teammate (obviously).
There's also not much to say about, Kit will probably always be the ideal teammate for this mode for reasons I'm going to explain below.

Brawl Ball

Brawl Ball

In Brawl Ball, there's something pretty interesting.
The ball does not go to the Shadow Realm, this means neither your opponent nor you can grab the ball there.
But, you can take advantage with that by using your Super when your opponent is about to defend the goal, so your team will probably easily score.

Bounty

Bounty

Cordelius is a pretty deadly brawler, so he is pretty good for Bounty, as well as other elimination gamemodes like Wipeout. With another deadly brawler (like Lily, that I'm going to explain later) and/or healer support brawlers, you can get a lot of kills.

Works Well With

Kit

Kit

Kit itself is already an OP brawler, mainly in Showdown.
So, like I said above, Cordelius and Kit in Duo Showdown will result in a pretty easy win, because Kit can use his Super on his opponents or even on Cordelius to help him out, as well as he has that completely broken star power for Showdown.

Lily

Lily

Lily is another pretty good brawler currently, being the only brawler besides Cordelius that can get into the Shadow Realm by herself.
This means that her gadget can be used normally, but also to help Cordelius a bit for a couple seconds.
She is very good for elimination gamemodes, such as Bounty and Wipeout, like said above.

Max

Max

Max can deal insane speed and Super charge boosts from her Super and her Hypercharge, respectively. So, she can be pretty good and useful for gamemodes like Brawl Ball, so Cordelius can rush with his gadget, his Super and/or his Hypercharge to get some kills and/or score a goal.

Sandy

Sandy

Similar to Max, Sandy can deal a speed boost with his Hypercharge and heal boosts with his star power (I guess) to his teammates (such as Cordelius) while still invisible, that can be used with Max boosts and turn Cordelius into a monster, making him get many kills and score some goals in Brawl Ball, leading to an easy victory.
