- 8-Bit Bad Gamemodes
8-Bit is bad in Knockout, Brawlball and Solo Showdown. - 8-Bit Gadget
Cheat Cartridge can be easily used to escape, for example if you are the carrier in Gem Grab, or to recover an important position, like the Hot Zone in the gamemode of the same name. Extra Credits can sometimes be good in Heist, but it often puts you at a disadvantage. - 8-Bit Star Power
Both Star Powers are good, but I think Plugged In is a little bit better. It seems obvious that a speed boost on the slowest Brawler in the game is interesting, especially for dodging attacks and maintaining an interesting position. Boosted Booster allows you to have greater control over hot spots on the map, but it also depends on your teammates' brawlers. - 8-Bit Gears
Speed is not the best! It only works on certain maps. Reload Speed is much more effective to allow you to deal a greater amount of damage more quickly on annoying tanks and defend yourself in the event of attack. Damage is good too because 8-Bit has a lot of HP, which allows for easy activation and makes 8-Bit a great anti-tank. - 8-Bit Strengths
8-Bit is good against tanks (like Draco, Bibi or Frank) and assassins (like Melodie, Lily or Buzz). - 8-Bit Counters
8-Bit is bad against snipers (like Angelo, Piper or Belle) and throwers (like Dynamike, Tick or Grom).
Game Modes
Wipeout
8-Bit has a very long range, which allows it to compete with snipers, even if they are his counters, which are very present in this mode. In addition, he can be a very good support for his sniper teammates.
Duo Showdown
Due to his low movement speed, 8-Bit is extremely bad at Solo. But in Duo, accompanied by a suitable brawler, he can very easily access and control the center of the map, the best position in Showdown.
Gem Grab
The very high 8-Bit burst allows him to easily eliminate the least discreet enemy carriers, and his high amount of HP allows him to be a good gem carrier himself, provided he is well protected by his teammates (his slowness is a horrible fault). His super is extremely effective in allowing him to control the gem mine from afar with his long-ranged teammates.
